Samsung Galaxy Active Watch and Galaxy Fit Officially Released

Samsung’s tech giant seems to have made a big break at the beginning of 2019 to present the latest products with qualified specifications. In addition to presenting the Samsung Galaxy S10 series as the flagship the vendor also introduced the Galaxy Fold as its folding cellphone. Samsung vendors also showed a big leap in the city of San Francisco, the United States by launching the latest smartwatch and smartband namely Samsung Galaxy Watch Active and Samsung Galaxy Fit.

In the smartwatch line, the technology giant from Gingseng is officially introducing the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active . This smart watch comes with a more fresh and charming design where there is now no rotating bezel. It can be said that Galxy Watch Active shows more a charming design that is more sporty and a thinner design only 10.5 mm thick and offers a 40mm diameter.

Please note that Samsung also immerses the latest features for the Galaxy Watch Active, the Blood Pressure Monitoring feature. This feature allows the device to monitor the user’s blood pressure. Even the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active also has the ability to monitor the heart rate to track the stress level of its users.

One interesting thing about the smartwatch model is that Samsung Galaxy Watch Active itself can track 39 user activities with the help of several sensors. Some of these sensors are GPS / GLONASS, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Barometer. Not only that, this smart watch also has a waterproof capability of up to 5ATM.

To specifications Samsung Galaxy Watch Active itself comes with carrying a 1.1-inch screen in the AMOLED panel with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. The screen has been packed with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 scratch resistant glass and runs in the Tizen OS 4.0 operating system. Inside this smart watch, the Exynos 9110 chipset is also embedded with 768 MN RAM as well as 4 GB of internal memory.

To support its operation, the Samsung smartwatch is powered by a 230 mAh battery where the battery can be charged from the Samsung Galaxy S10 or Qi-based wireless charger. For the price tag of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active  itself is released with a label of USD 200 or around Rp. 2.8 million per unit.

In addition to smart watches, the Galaxy lineup has also been updated with a new smartband called Samsung Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e. The interesting thing is, these two smartband can even track more activities than the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active which can be used to track up to 90 activities.

Both the Samsung Galaxy Fit and Fit e itself also have 5ATM waterproof capability and super light weight when circling on the wrist. The weight of the Galaxy Fit reaches 24 grams while Fit e is only 15 grams. Just like the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active, these two smartband also have features to monitor the heart rate to the level of stress and sleep level of the user.

Two Galaxy Fit smartband does not run in OS Tizen like the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active model. But both are equipped with features to display calendars, alarms as well as captured weather info from smartphones which are important information for users.

The difference between the two smartband itself is on the screen where the Samsung Galaxy Fit comes with a 9.95-inch screen in a 120 x 240 pixel AMOLED panel. While the Galaxy Fit e comes with a black and white PMOLED screen with a screen measuring 0.74 inches and a smaller resolution of 64 x 128 pixels. The price tag of the Samsung Galaxy Fit itself was released starting at the price of USD 99
